We respect your privacy

The processing controller, Optiek Lammerant, duly respects the Belgian Law of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data. This Law lays down that you can always request and correct your data.


You can visit the website without needing to provide your personal details. You will stay anonymous and we cannot recognise you at any point in time during your visit to the website unless you have an account and you log in with your user name and password.

Contact form

We only request the personal details that we need to reply to your message that you sent us by way of the contact page.

Webshop order

When you place an order, we collect all data that we need to correctly send, deliver and invoice your order:

  • first and family names;
  • postal and residential addresses;
  • payment details: payments in the webshop shall be processed through the Mollie pay system. Optiek Lammerant never personally keeps any details. You may only provide information that is correct, accurate and not misleading; you must keep us informed and notify us of any changes;
  • email address: you will be sent an email about your order, invoice and the products that you purchase from us.

The personal data communicated by the purchaser shall only be used for the following purposes:

  • execution of the agreement concluded;
  • processing of the order;
  • sending one or more emails, such as an email stating login data, product details or dispatch notifications;
  • receipt of our newsletter, information on campaigns for advertising and/or marketing purposes.

Optiek Lammerant treats the purchaser’s data as confidential information and shall not pass on the data, hire it or sell it to third persons. We only pass your name and address on to third persons to ensure that the product is delivered to you (for example, to our courier or supplier).

Data perusal

The purchaser has a statutory right to peruse and perhaps correct his or her personal data. On condition that he or she submits proof of identity (copy of identity card), the purchaser can, by means of a written, dated and signed request addressed to Optiek Lammerant, be notified in writing of his or her personal data. If necessary, the purchaser can also request that the data that are incorrect, incomplete or not pertinent, be corrected. If the data are used for direct marketing purposes, the purchaser can object, free of charge, to having his or her data used for direct marketing. The purchaser is personally responsible for keeping his or her login details confidential and for the use of his or her password.  The purchaser’s password is coded and stored; therefore, Optiek Lammerant does not have any access to your password.

My SunglassBoutique / Optiek Lammerant keeps an (anonymous) online record of visitors’ statistics to be able to see how many times people visit which pages of the website.
